When you keep active and think positive thoughts, the energy in your body remains healthy and flowing. When you hold onto fear, that energy can get trapped and lead to blockages, which can then manifest as dis-ease. Thinking the right thoughts is responsible for the way your body looks and functions. Most disease is preventable and stems from the wrong way of thinking. Diseases such as cancer are a result of poor nutrition and stored anger, resentment and fear. By removing toxic recurring thoughts, we actually release energy blockages in the body, which in turn releases disease.
In Supercharge Your Life: Unify Mind, Body and Spirit, I explain how staying on the right vibration, in total connection to your spirit, is as easy as choosing the right thoughts and maintaining the correct posture! Think about it… your emotional state, the frequency you're on is basically determined by the way you think and how you hold your body. Staying depressed takes work. Identifying with your pain is a choice and you don’t have to choose it.
You’ll learn how to firstly identify negative thought patterns surrounding your body image and food choices so you can then let go of that which does not serve you. You'll be introduced to some fun exercises that will help you manifest that sexy, healthy body you know you deserve! Why? Because feeling good in your own skin provides you with confidence! Be honest with yourself... You don’t want the perfect body just to look good, do you? You want it because the confidence that comes with being connected to your body will provide you with amazing EXPERIENCES!
In my opinion, dieting NEVER works. The best diet is a proper mindset. By learning how to master your Body and Mind, you’ll be able to connect to your Spirit. From that place of stillness, you’ll automatically be able to know what foods suit your unique frequency. Choosing health will come naturally.
In the Body section, I’m going to introduce you to my top 3 favourite superfoods: coconut, goji berries and hemp! All of these foods are complete proteins, which means they contain all 9 essential amino acids. As humans, we require 22 amino acids to function, but we can’t create them all on our own. That’s why we have to turn to food. From the 9 essential amino acids, we can create all the rest. That’s why eating superfoods is important. They are nutritionally perfect! Jam-packed full of vitamins, protein, good fats and antioxidants. They provide you with all your essential nutrients while boosting your immunity, enhancing your mood, and cleansing and alkalizing your system.
You’ll learn about the history and benefits of each superfood. I've included a total of 9 recipes, 3 for each food item. All of them are vegan so nobody gets left out! For each superfood, you’ll get ideas on how to create a Quick Snack, a Hearty Meal or a Sweet Treat. So whether you’re looking for a breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or dessert idea, there’s something there that’ll work to satisfy your needs.
Here’s an example of one of my raw vegan recipes:
RAW ALMOND GOJI BARS
2 cups almond butter
1 cup shredded coconut
1½ cup dates
½ cup goji berries
¼ cup bluberries
¼ cup cranberries
2 tbsp. raw honey
a few drops of raw vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup almond butter
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup water
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. raw honey
To make the bars combine the almond butter, coconut, dates, salt and honey and blend. Add in all berries and pulse until combined but don't over-blend. Spread mixture into baking dish. To make icing, blend the remaining ingredients until smooth. Spread over the bar and top with goji berries. Chill for a few hours, slice and enjoy. Serves 2-4.
In the Spirit section, you’ll find some safe and effective ways to release stress. On top of creating the right mindset, eating healthy and exercising, it’s important to take some time out of your busy day to become still. Meditation can help you master your mind, emotions and body so you reach your highest potential. The meditations you’ll learn about include: Mindfulness Meditation, Zen Meditation and Mantra Meditation.
